This full length feature film was shown as a TV special in January 2005 in Japan. There are no plans to dub it as of yet. It is unrelated to the TV show, and is a CGI (Computer Generated Images) movie.
Yggdrasil is the the host computer that governs the Digital World. It is now getting the Royal Knights, Omegamon, Dukemon and Magnamon, to executes Project Ark destroying all Digimon using the feared X-Program. Omegamon is clearly believes in Yggdrasil but Dukemon is unsure and wonders if they are making a mistake, that Yggdrasil is wrong killing so many Digimon. This program caused the X Digimon and normal Digimon to confront each other.
Meanwhile, Andromon, Blossomon, Hanumon and Tokomon argue with WarGreymon X, Garudamon X and Kokuwamon X. The X Digimon think that they should fight together against the Royal Knights and that they had no choice but to take the X Antibody to escape but the normal Digimon think that the X Digimon are the ones that brought the problem here in the first place. At this time, Omegamon appears and kills everyone except for WarGreymon X and Tokomon. They flee to a nearby building and meet Dorumon. Tokomon is left with Dorumon and WarGreymon goes to fight Omegamon. WarGreymon X loses but manages to escape. Omegamon receives a message from Dukemon.
Omegamon, Dukemon and Magnamon have a meeting about Yggdrasil and Project Ark but Omegamon still says that Yggdrasil cannot be questioned. WarGreymon X escapes to a cave where MetalGarurumon X is. War Greymon X says the Royal Knights are as strong as he expected, but Metal Garurumon X wonders if the Royal Knights are really their enemy. He says he wants to believe in the Royal Knights, and he won't fight them until he finds out why they are doing what they're doing.
Meanwhile, Dorumon and Tokomon wander around when they see a huge stampede of Digimon being killed by Omegamon. Omegamon spots Dorumon and Tokomon. Dorumon and Tokomon try to attack but it's useless. Just as Omegamon prepares to kill them, MetalGarurumon X and WarGreymon X appear. They fight and MetalGarurumon X gets seriously injured while trying to save Dorumon and Tokomon. Before he faints, he gives Tokomon his X Antibody. Dorumon screams and evolves to Dorugamon. Omegamon goes to attack them but is stopped by a lance falling from the sky. It was Dukemon. They argue and end up fighting with Dukemon getting a sword through the chest.
Magnamon comes and captures Dorugamon and his body transforms into data and splits into two parts and is sent off. WE then see a junkyard with Wizarmon and Mummymon, and they find Dorugamon under a bunch of junk and try to help him. The other half of Dorugamon's data transformed into Death-X Dorugoramon and we see many Death-X Dorugremon hatching from Digitamas. They attack the Digimon at the junkyard and Silphymon tries to defend the Digimon. MetalGarurumon X and WarGreymon X come to help. Soon, Dukemon returns as Dukemon X and he also helps out. Dorugamon evolves to Dorugremon and Dukemon sends him to Omegamon and Magnamon with a portal.
Dorugremon wants to see Yggdrasil but Omegamon attacks him. Dorugremon doesn't fight and just before Omegamon delivers the fatal blow, he evolves to Alphamon, the 13th Royal Knight. Omegamon now goes with everything Alphamon says. As the Digital World starts deleting very rapidly, Alphamon and Omegamon goes to find Yggdrasil but is confronted by Death-X Dorugoramon. Alphamon kills him easily but he revives as Death-Xmon!! Omegamon is caught and Alphamon is seriously injured! Will they be able to save the Digital World?!!
